The vision for the ICMN is to encourage and resource the global community in the practice of Christ-centred, life-transforming mentoring.

The mission of the ICMN is to pursue the vision by:

  1. Demonstrating the importance and potential of mentoring
  2. Encouraging mutual support and networking within the Christian mentoring community
  3. Identifying, developing, and disseminating mentoring resources
  4. Providing training and learning opportunities for mentoring
  5. Promoting reflection, evaluation, and research related to mentoring
The members of the ICMN should hold to the Apostles' Creed, available below:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
    the Creator of heaven and earth,
    and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:

Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
    born of the Virgin Mary,
    suffered under Pontius Pilate,
    was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended into hell.

The third day He arose again from the dead.

He ascended into heaven
    and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
    whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic (universal) church,
    the communion of saints,
    the forgiveness of sins,
    the resurrection of the body,
    and life everlasting.
